David Rader

President & COO

David Rader is the President and COO of UNA Sports Group. David previously led the sports advisory practice at PwC and joined UNA to help oversee the firm and advisory business. David’s clients have included teams, leagues, media partners, vendors, and investors ranging from the largest private equity firms in the world to private family offices.

David’s projects typically included operational and customer improvements for professional teams, and advisory work on dozens of potential investments across the professional, collegiate, and amateur sports ecosystem. Mr. Rader’s team also regularly publishes an Industry Outlook and fan surveys on the latest trends across the industry.

Prior to PwC, David ran the consulting business for Kraft Analytics Group (KAGR), a subsidiary of Kraft Sports + Entertainment. In this role, he led the firm’s advisory relationships with multiple teams and vendors, with a focus on their digital strategy and use of data to drive customer growth.

Previously, Mr. Rader was a Management Consultant for Bain & Company, working mainly in consumer products and experiences. David started his career in ESPN’s affiliate distribution group, helping the network develop its strategy for transitioning from traditional television distribution to new media partners.
